NorNed cable fire extinguished

The fire that started on the morning of Saturday 11 April at the Eemshaven converter station was extinguished by early afternoon. The damage to the cable will be examined at the beginning of next week, at which time TenneT will also start the necessary repair work. The security of supply in the Netherlands is assured: the planned capacity supplied from Norway will be compensated by other production plants.
